Benny Gene Dunn, 74, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away on April 22, 2026, at his home.

Benny was born on January 30, 1952, in McAlester, Oklahoma, to Kenneth and Jean Dunn. He graduated from Midwest City High School in 1970 and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. Benny enjoyed his annual hunting trips.

He married the love of his life, Lea Dunn, on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2005. They shared 25 wonderful years together.

Benny is survived by his wife, Lea Dunn; his children, Jason Dunn and wife Erica; Shelly Dunn; Brenna Punneo and husband Vann; Brett Dunn; Ed Ragle and wife Bonnie; and Clint Ragle; his grandchildren, Collin Ragle, Alexis Jordan White, Caleb Kincheloe, Gerald Punneo, and Savannah Punneo; his sister, Janie Dunn Lastinger; his niece, Paula Jane; his nephew, Corey; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mack and Josie Howard; his parents, Kenneth and Jean Dunn; his uncle, Fred Howard; and his younger brother, Danny Lee Dunn.

Benny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and in the many traditions and moments they shared together.
