Connie K. Zumbrun

Connie K. Zumbrun (Whitenack) was born December 27, 1943 in Dayton, Ohio to true and Mary Whitenack. She passed away with family by her side on February 3, 2025.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents True and Mary Whitenack, husband Lester A. Zumbrun, brother Edward Whitenack, and grandchildren, A. J. Staton, Abbey Sowers, Tiffany Sowers, and Kathren Young. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her brother Ronald (Gertrude) Whitenack; children Bryan Sowers, Teresa Staton (Sowers), Daniel Sowers, Michelle (Bruce) Spurlock, Michael Sowers, Secret Zumbrun, Dusty Zumbrun; dozens of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many other friends and loved ones.

Connie found her soulmate in Lester Zumbrun and they were married on 12/26/1980. Lester was her partner in life and took very good care of her.

 Connie enjoyed sewing and quilting, attending car shows nationwide with her late husband, Lester. She was an active member of the Moose Lodge. Connie loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, who her and Lester would always play pranks on. She was fun, loving, sassy and super ornery, especially to those closest to her.

Connie will truly be missed by all of her family, friends and loved ones.
