Newalla

Dana Earlene Hazlewood (Beller), of Newalla, Oklahoma passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 26th at the age of 81.

Dana was a woman whose life was centered around love, especially for her family. She found her greatest joy in being surrounded by those she loved, and her grandchildren held a very special place in her heart. She cherished every moment spent with them and created memories that will be treasured forever.

She enjoyed crocheting afghans. Dana also loved cooking, and her kitchen was a place where family gathered, stories were shared, and love was felt in every meal she prepared. She enjoyed playing card games, bringing laughter, friendly competition, and togetherness to those around her. She also had a love for the color purple, a simple detail that those closest to her will always remember and hold dear.

More than anything, Dana will be remembered for her warm heart, her giving spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, comfort, and togetherness that will continue to live on through all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Charles Frederick Hazlewood, her children Suzan Hazlewood, JoAnn Griffin and husband Charles Griffin, Neal Hazlewood, and Steve Hazlewood. Her grandchildren Michael Weaver, Allen Weaver, Chuckie Griffin Jr. and wife Megan Griffin, Amber Cole and husband Brian Cole Jr., Elizabeth Griffin, Tesla Hazlewood, and Kayla Hazlewood. Her great grandchild Alexus Weaver and great great grandchild Kolsen Friesen. In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family who meant so much to her.
