Dwain Ray Yousey

Jan 20, 1952 — Jun 13, 2026

Dwain Ray Yousey was born January 20th, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Joe and Ruth Yousey. He married the love of his life of over 55 years, Doris McManus on May 20th 1971. He was baptized at Meadowood Baptist Church. He passed away on June 13th 2026 surrounded by his family.

Dwain loved his family and cherished every moment he was able to spend coaching all 3 of his sons in soccer and attended every grandkid’s soccer game. He was so proud of each one and none of them ever had to question his loving devotion. He was always first in line with a chair and a cup of coffee even when it was raining, windy, cold or sweltering heat. All the kids on the teams knew Dwain and loved when he cheered them on by name. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. He often travelled with the grandkids and loved taking them on new adventures. In retirement, he loved spending time with his wife, Doris and they spent hours playing card games, dominoes, playing on his tablet and going to the gym to swim.

Survivors include his wife Doris Yousey, children William Joe Yousey and wife Calista, Donavon Dwain Yousey, Anthony Steven Yousey and wife Amy. Grandchildren Daniel Ray Yousey and wife Jennifer, Xaley Stephenie Christine Yousey and wife Morgan, Xavier Dwaine Yousey and wife Kylie, Tommy Kane Yousey and Isaiah Steven Yousey. Great grandchild Lila Yousey. Sister Jolene Meier and husband Joe, brother Carl Yousey and wife Danette, brother Bill Yousey and wife Darlene, brother David Yousey and wife Anita. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ruth Yousey, sister Laura Broussard and her husband Lee.
