Edna Opal Lehenbauer, age 88, departed this life on November 16, 2025, peacefully sleeping in her bed. Edna was born on May 13, 1937, in Thomas, Oklahoma, to Lincoln and Clara Wanzer.
Edna had multiple hobbies to include sewing, puzzles, and reading library books. Edna would sew blankets for her own use, family, and anyone she felt needed one. She enjoyed collecting Barbie dolls and sewing new clothing, proudly displaying and sharing with her children and grandchildren. Edna also enjoyed knitting and would knit and sew potholders for all. She really enjoyed making jewelry for herself and family to enjoy. Edna had a special horse named Scarlet she thoroughly enjoyed riding.
Edna is preceded in death by her husband Edward Lehenbauer; parents Lincoln and Clara Wanzer; sister Fontella Bingham; brothers Olin Wanzer and Lewis Wanzer; daughter Judy Lehenbauer; and grandson Kevin Lehenbauer.
Edna leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Kenneth L. Lehenbauer and wife DeAnn Lehenbauer; son Eugene (Gene) Lehenbauer and wife Miyuki Lehenbauer; and daughter Loria Ann Lesson. Edna had 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Edna also leaves behind a multitude of nieces and nephews who treasured her greatly.
Edna will be greatly missed by all who loved her and was loved by her.
