Grace Constance "Connie" Fisher, of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2026, at the age of 86.
Connie was born on March 12, 1940, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Everett Clinton Mason and Rose Elsie Mason.
Connie lived a life marked by resilience, kindness, and a genuine love for people. While life was not always easy, she faced its challenges with determination, grace, and an enduring ability to find joy wherever she could. Her strength carried her through many seasons of life, and she never lost her ability to care for others.
Throughout her life, Connie worked in the retail and service industries, where her warm smile and friendly spirit touched countless lives. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, singing, and spending time with family and friends. She had a gift for making others feel welcome and valued, and her generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
In her later years, Connie faced declining health with the same strength and perseverance that defined her life. Though her health challenges limited her activities, the love she shared with family and friends remained a constant source of comfort and joy.
More than anything, Connie will be remembered for the simple words she shared so often: "Be Happy." To those who knew and loved her, those words were more than a favorite saying—they were a reflection of her spirit and the way she chose to live her life.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Clinton Mason and Rose Elsie Mason; her brothers, Edward Clifton Mason, Walter Eldon Mason, Charles LeeRoy Mason, and Vernon Paul Mason; her sisters, Roberta Aileen Stillwagner and Alma Jean Mason; and her beloved son, Danny Scott Moody.
She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory, including her sister, Sharon Howerton; her sister in life, Jeanne Tisdell; her daughters, DJ Burns, Annette Harrison, and Danae Humphreys; her son, James Moody and wife, Shanon Moody; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Connie's legacy is one of love, perseverance, generosity, and joy. She taught those around her to appreciate life's simple pleasures, treasure family, and look for the good in each day. Her memory will live on through the stories shared, songs sung, laughter remembered, and the many lives she touched throughout her 86 years.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, support, and kindness shown during this difficult time.
In honor of Connie's life, the family encourages everyone to remember her favorite words and carry them forward each day: "Be Happy."
