Ila Geraldine "Jerri" Lackey, 78, of McLoud, Oklahoma, passed away on April 24, 2026, at her home.
Jerri was born December 6, 1947, to Jesse Lee Loman and Della Mae Loman (Harper).
She lived in McLoud, Oklahoma, with the one and only love of her life, Jimmy Ray Lackey. She loved him an awful bunch. They were married on July 30, 1966, and shared nearly 60 years of marriage.
Jerri worked for Nicoma Park Schools for several years. She also worked at the McLoud lumber yard, JCPenney in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Tinker Air Force Base, and held various other jobs. But the job she was most proud of was being a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was a devoted member of Minneha Free Will Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for more than 50 years, teaching middle school students.
Jerri was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ray Lackey; her father, Jesse Lee Loman; her mother, Della Mae Loman (Harper); and her brother, James "Jim" Lee Loman.
She is survived by her children, Ladell Ray Lackey and wife, Lloyd Lee Lackey, and daughter, Lorrie Annette Neely and husband; her brother, Lynn Loman and wife; Fourteen grandchildren; and Twelve great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
