John “Turq” Saichich, 74, of Midwest City, OK, passed away peacefully at home on December 16th, 2025. John was born on July 16th, 1951, in Anaheim, CA to Robert and Edith (Snethen) Saichich.
John graduated from Katella High School in Anaheim, CA and later moved to Harrah, OK with his grandparents, Louis and Anna Manek with whom he spent all his summers and Christmas Vacations.
John was a very skilled carpenter who served communities and businesses across the United States while managing large and small construction projects.
After John’s retirement, he helped friends and family members with various projects.
John is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Anna Marie Stage. John is survived by his two daughters, Brandy K. (Saichich) Parks and husband Edward H. Parks, Jennifer Saichich; brother-in-law, Charles Stage; and grandchildren, Christopher Parks, Logan Jobe, and Maggie Jobe.
John took many interests throughout his life which included: fishing, hunting, riding his motorcycle and watching his favorite sport NASCAR. While in his early years his hobbies included playing the banjo and fiddle.
John never met a stranger! He was known for saying “Hello” to everyone he met.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Toys-for-Tots. A charity he supported.
