Larry Earl Dyche

Larry Dyche was born in Alva Oklahoma on October 18, 1948. He passed away peacefully on November 29th, 2025, and is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his wife Debbie and his three children: Sean Dyche and wife Lauren, Sabrina Sparrow and husband Bill, and Kirk Dyche and wife Michelle. He was blessed with three amazing granddaughters that he loved beyond measure: Alex Sparrow, Adalyn Sparrow and Brynlee Dyche.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents Ruth and Lloyd Dyche; his four brothers Joe Dee, Daryl, Jimmie, and Harold Dyche.

He was the youngest of five boys born to Ruth and Lloyd Dyche. Larry was a proud veteran who served in the United States Air Force.

Larry and Debbie Simmons were married in November 1983 and were blessed with 42 years of marriage. After experiencing serious heart and health issues in 2022, God gifted his family with three additional cherished years together.

Larry attended Seminole Junior College and completed his college degree at East Central University. Upon his graduation he worked as a staff accountant with CPA firms. After working 10 years in accounting firms, Larry changed careers and worked for and retired with USA Today.

Larry was a true country boy at heart. He loved the outdoors and cattle. But his favorite pastime was hunting and fishing with his sons. He was known for sharing this love of nature with anyone he held dear.

Larry would welcome anyone just as they are, and would enjoy seeing you in your beloved Thunder, OU or camo gear. He believed suits and ties were meant to stay in your closet. He would say enjoy God’s great outdoors and never miss an opportunity to introduce a young girl or boy to hunting and fishing.
