Maria Cecilia (Sparks) Jones

Cecilia Jones, 85, of Jones, Oklahoma, entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2025, at Mercy Hospital, surrounded by the love of her family. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.

Cecilia was born on November 22, 1940, in El Salvador. After emigrating to the United States, she found a spiritual home in the Baptist faith, which became the cornerstone of her life. Her relationship with God, nurtured through her church family in Jones, Oklahoma, guided her with unwavering grace and strength.

Cecilia was blessed with a devoted marriage to her loving husband, John R. Jones, who survives her. Together they built a life centered on faith, love, and mutual respect.

Maria's greatest pride and joy were her children. She was a devoted mother to Elba, Gloria, and Anthony, instilling in them the values of faith, hard work, and compassion. Her love multiplied with the arrival of her grandchildren: Jody, Lindsey, Jacob, Jordan, Skyler, Meredith, Clayton, Victoria, Jackson, and Gabe. She was further blessed with five great-grandchildren, with a sixth eagerly awaited. Her home was always a sanctuary of love and faith, a legacy that will endure for generations.
