Milford Martin Baker born July 21, 1937 departed this life April 29, 2025. He was born on Carter Mountain where his father, was the tower fire watchman. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Pansy Baker, son Gerald Martin Baker and brothers-in-law Robert Norman and Jerrol Largin and sister-in-law Jewell Baker. He is survived by five siblings: two brothers Farris and Melvin Baker and wife Marilyn; three sisters Cynthia Norman, Vesta Largin and Wilma Davidson and husband Gary; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; his wife Beverly Baker and their children son Charles William Baker, and his daughters Erika, Victoria, and Hailey Baker; daughter Benella Jean Fields and her daughters Autumn Trolinger-Fields and husband Dylan and Madison Fields; his Daughter, Lorette Baker from a previous marriage.

Milford loved his family and prayed for them each by name every day. He loved God and His Word. He had an amazing memory for Scripture verses & their references! He also loved talking about memories from his growing up years. One of his favorites was about when family would come home from California! Everyone would meet at the old home place where his mother would have a beautiful meal cooked! He is the first of six siblings to make it to heaven; he will be greatly missed, but we know he is waiting for us there! He loved his dogs and always had at least one. He enjoyed reminiscing about them as well.
