Retha Marie Moore was born on Oct. 30, 1929 to Floy Aneta Black and Ralph Moore in Geary, Oklahoma. She attended Center Grove School in Calumet from 1st to 8th grades. She attained her GED in 1963. At the age of 16 years, she married Homer Smith and started their lives together in Calumet. They enjoyed visiting with family, camping and traveling. In 1952, the family moved from Calumet to Choctaw when Homer started employment at Tinker Air Force Base. They were married 53 years until his death in 1999. They had 3 sons and 1 daughter (Darla) who died at birth. After raising a family, Retha started her own career in Healthcare. She graduated at the top of her class in Laboratory services, worked with several Cardiologists and owned her own Holter Monitor business for heart patients. After retiring, she married Raymond Fuller and they continued their lives in Choctaw. They enjoyed being with family, golfing and traveling the world. After Ray Fullers death, she moved from Choctaw to Shawnee to live across the yard from her son, Dale. Retha is survived by her 3 sons, Randall Smith of Jones, OK, Ray Smith and wife Jeannie of Lake Havasu City AZ, and Dale Smith and wife Charlotte of Shawnee. There are 3 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren who were the joys of her life. There are many friends and extended family who meant so much to her. We thank you for honoring her today!
