Reuben Charles Fleischman

Reuben Charles Fleischman, 74, passed away on July 25, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born to Ruben J. and Evelyn Fleischman on January 30, 1952, in Richmond, Virginia, he was one of eight children. Reuben is preceded in death by his parents. Reuben was a logistics manager for the FAA. He also served in the Air Force, where he retired after over 20 years of service. He met and married Sonklin Vibonchai, and they were married for 52 years until his passing. He earned two master's degrees, was a member of the Boy Scouts, volunteered for OK Best Robotics, and enjoyed fishing, the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Oklahoma City Dodgers, and his grandkids. Reuben would bend over backwards for his wife, Sonklin, his kids, and stayed out in the yard as much as he could. He was known to be a busybody, not staying still for long, and he also enjoyed traveling to Thailand. Reuben donated things to people without expectation of anything in return. Being a military man, he enjoyed going to collect his free meals from every place that was offering them on Veterans Day or any day they were free. He liked to work on things himself, rarely calling anyone to fix an item that needed repair. Reuben loved black Friday and Prime Day on Amazon and loved finding good deals. Reuben leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 52 years, Sonklin Fleischman; sons Charles E. Fleischman, Reuben J. (Katherine) Fleischman, and Stewert A. (Tiffany Nicole) Fleischman; eight grandchildren; Reuben James Fleischman, Lilly Marie Fleischman, Carson Rey Fleischman, Conner James Fleischman, Allena Leona Fleischman, Maddox James Fleischman, Emery Ann Fleischman, and Jacoeb Tyler Fleischman. Reuben will be missed by many but not forgotten.
