Vaidan Michael Ford Freeman was born on February 17th, 2000. He left this world on January 1st, 2026, at the age of 25. Although he left far too soon, he carried with him a legacy of humor, love, and kindness. He was a caring man with a compassionate and forgiving heart, someone who met the world head-on and gave generously of himself to the people he loved.
Vaidan cherished his family deeply. He loved spending time playing games with his dad, brother, and sister, and he found joy in the stories and worlds of anime. He was a hardworking man, always willing to go above and beyond. If someone he loved needed help, Vaidan would always show up, ready to do anything and everything he could, unless it involved mowing his dad’s lawn, which he despised.
One of his greatest joys in life was being a father, and it was where he invested the deepest parts of himself. He poured more effort, care, and love into fatherhood than he ever gave to anything else. He cherished playing with his daughter Vayda, teaching her new skills, and watching her grow. The bond they shared was full of laughter, curiosity, and love, and it will forever be a part of her.
Vaidan is survived by his wife, Kenzie, and their daughter, Vayda Freeman; parents, Jerry and Amiee Freeman; his older brother, Ethan, and wife Jessica, along with their children, Lucas and Eliza Freeman; and his baby sister, Hannah Freeman, her partner Keandre, and their son, Kai McCuin, all of whom will continue to carry his spirit forward. He is also survived by his numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and in-laws. He leaves behind his grandparents, Jim and Mary Orcutt and Connie Sohrabi, as well as his great-grandparents, Chris and Sue Rhoden. He is preceded in death by his Grandpa Ronnie Freeman, Papa Hamid Sohrabi, Aunt Veronica (Ronnie) Brockman, Uncle Jerry Freeman, and all others who welcomed him with open arms and smiling faces as he entered his eternal rest.
Vaidan was an incredibly amazing man—loving, loyal, funny, and full of goodness and life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him.
