William Matheney Farmer Jr.

August 16, 1950 — December 24, 2025

William “Bill” Matheney Farmer, Jr. passed away peacefully in the early morning of December 24th, 2025, at the age of 75. He was a beloved husband, a dedicated father, a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, and a guiding presence to all who knew him.

Bill Jr. was born at Tinker Airforce Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma on August 16th, 1950, to the late William Farmer, Sr. and Loyce Farmer. Bill Jr. dedicated his life to the principles he learned from his parents and that he held most dear: God, family, integrity, and service.

For 57 years, he was the devoted husband to Teresa Lou Farmer. They have been a testament to enduring love, selfless compromise, mutual support, and undying commitment. Their relationship has been built on the foundation of their faith in God. It also has been an example to many that working on the relationship can conquer all conflicts.

Bill Jr. faced many challenges: losing his mother at age 12; seeing the horrors of war, serving in the Airforce during the Vietnam War; and the demon of addiction. After finding the Lord, he asked God to make him one thing, “A Servant”. As a result, 38 years ago, he conquered the battle of addiction and found his new calling; guiding many others on their path to recovery with empathy, understanding, and unwavering support. His legacy is one of resilience and the powerful impact of helping others.

Bill Jr. is survived by his loving wife Teri Farmer of Choctaw, OK; his brother Billy Farmer and wife Brenda of Rosedale, OK; his sister Rosalyn Farmer of Oklahoma City, OK; his son Brian Farmer and partner Jennifer of Midwest City, OK; son Christopher Farmer of Choctaw, OK; his daughter Jennifer Mitchell and husband Jim of Oklahoma City, OK; his blessings – his 15 grandchildren; the jewels in his crown – his 11 great-grandchildren; a wide circle of extended family as all were his “family” not just friends. All will miss his big heart, his wisdom, his guidance, and his unique humor.
